Filter sieves from stainless steel
Because of the characteristics as surface filters, these filter elements can be back flushed with water, by this they are completely regenerable. Material for filter sieves is 1.4404/S316L or Hastelly. For application with liquids these filter can be used as fast-loop-bypass. Used as this, the filter sieves are self-cleaning. Filter sieves can stand high differential pressures and can be sealed with PTFE, FKM, aluminium or copper.
Typical materials for filter sieves
These filter elements are available as thin-walled and thick-walled elements. Thick-walled elements offer the benefit of utmost stability even at highest differential pressures and sudden pressure surges.
Thick-walled filter sieves are made from 1.4404 and thin-walled sieves from mateial SS316L. Both, thin- and thick-walled elements can be obtained also in Hastelloy.
