Filter elements glass fibre
These filter elements are made from Borosillicate glass fibre, the coating is from epoxide, PVDF or silicate. The used glass fibre indicates the filter fineness, the relevant coating defines the type of filter element.

Types of filter elements
Type E (standard)
Type S
Type K
Type C & CS
Basically a distinction is made between particle and coalescence filter elements. Filters of type -E, -S and -K can only solve solid particles from gases and liquids (refer to picture on the left), while filters of type C and CS also segregate liquid components in form of drops and fog or aerosoles from gases.
